Hello, my name is Dimitri Almasi and I teach junior high science, health, and social studies at Limestone Walters. I take great pride in teaching at LW, and believe we have one of the best districts in the state. In December, 2010, I graduated from Bradley University with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in science and language arts. I am also currently pursuing my Master's Degree at Bradley University. My hobbies are bow hunting, triathlons, spending time with my family, and working in my garden. I love to spend most of my time playing with my dog, Leon, in the lake and on our pontoon boat.
My students would tell you have I have some of the best "sayings" around. Here are a few:
"Do your best and forget the rest"
"No-one flies as high as a rocket"
"How do we get better? Learn from our mistakes"
"Rockets fly together"
"Burning day-light"
"Bidda-bang, Badda-boom"
"Limestone Walters, the place where dreams come true!"
